serve as the senior operations analyst on a team of analysts, engineers and modelers conducting Mission Engineering studies for OUSD R&E in accordance with the Mission Engineering Guide (https://ac.cto.mil/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/MEG-v40_20201130_shm.pdf). You will produce objective insights and analytic justifications to inform future technology and capability investment decisions within the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process and aid in the prioritization, alignment and validation of requirements within Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) to deliver modernized capabilities that enable an all domain joint force aligned with future Joint Warfighting Concepts. This position will be located on site 5 days per week at the Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- You will assist in developing the study plans, identifying needed resources (personnel, modeling tools, etc.), socializing the study with stakeholders, executing the study, and authoring the study final report.
- 15+ years' relevant experience.
- 15+ years' operational experience - Desired.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in the Joint Staff.
- Experience analyzing system solutions to complex and challenging DoD problems.
- Experience defining operational problems within the fighting forces and using statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, or other methods to analyze it and develop practical solutions.
- Experience developing and executing analysis and study plans that address complex problems, examine trade-offs and sensitivities, and produce data and information rich products and artifacts.
- Expertise in Joint Force design, development and application, operational constraints, concepts of operations, concepts of employment, development and execution of CCMD operation plans, threat tactics and responses, logistics approaches.
- Expert-level experience in one or more of the following areas:
- NC3
- JADC2
- C2BMC
- Long-Range Fires
- Space Operations
- Position, Navigation and Timing
- ISR
- Theater-level Logistics planning/support
- IAMD/Base Defense.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Bachelors Degree from War College or equivalent, in a recognized discipline that is relevant - Desired.
- Masters Degree in Operations Research or Engineering - Desired.

Clearance Requirements:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
