Job Description:

• Developing system and subsystem requirements from user mission needs, and tracking requirements throughout the development process
• Understanding and utilizing detailed models and simulations of systems for design verification or to enable hardware and software development
• Working closely with developers to create operational modes which satisfy requirements and maximize system performance
• Analyzing data from laboratory as it applies to and influences design solutions
• Formally verifying that solutions meet requirements

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) in Physics, Mathematics, Computer, or Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline with 9 years of related experience, or 7 years with a Master's Degree, or 4 years with a PhD.
• Professional hands on experience in systems engineering tools including requirements management tools such as Jama
• System requirements development
• Understanding detailed models and simulations of electronic circuits or systems for design verification

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Systems Engineering 
• Software or Hardware design experience
• Experience with analysis, design, fabrication, or test of superconducting electronics
