Facility Electrical Engineer
Houston, TXThe Facility Electrical Engineer will be supporting the Facility and Test Department's mission including systems design, procurement and operations.

The selected candidate will:
- Support test electrical buildup and operations for test chambers including required documentation.
- Oversee the installation of low voltage power distribution systems and data acquisition systems
- Design, Specify and initiate procurement of electrical and control system hardware.
- Review and track engineering deliverables for project status reporting.
- Resolve issues and improve systems using analysis/debugging of software
- Develop and maintain electrical and control system operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as requiredRequired Education/Experience/Skills:

- BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school
- Understanding of electrical drawings
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficiency using computers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Familiarity with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures.
- Installation of Sensors and Instrumentation
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and programming software
