Back End Developer (Java) - REMOTE
REMOTE, PAPosition Description: We are seeking a Back End Java Software Developer to work with a team in the development and sustainment of a real-time data processing, analysis, and visualization application.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications leveraging standard Java frameworks such as JDBC and JMS
- Utilize web and API services using technologies such as JSON/REST or XML/SOAP
- Responsible for the development of new Unit Tests (JUnit)
- Responsible for building new web pages, interfaces, and data exchanges
- Collaboration with a decentralized team is essential
The desired qualifications for this position include:
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Must have the ability to get a DoD secret clearance (US citizenship is required)
- Java Developer– 3+ years
- Experienced with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot
- Experience with Postgres or other SQL Databases
- Developing Web Services and REST Services
- Familiar with standard source code management tools (Gitlab)
- Understanding and experience in Unit Test development and sustainment
- Familiar with web-based technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
