We are seeking an Engineer II to support Navy modernization efforts with expertise in Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems and machinery control systems. This role requires a strong technical foundation in engineering and familiarity with Additive Manufacturing (AM) techniques to support modernization and sustainment initiatives across Navy platforms.
Support Navy modernization projects, focusing on mechanical and electrical HM&E systems and machinery control systems.
Apply Additive Manufacturing (AM) techniques to engineering solutions that enhance performance, readiness, and sustainability.
Provide technical expertise in system assessments, modernization planning, and lifecycle engineering.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of new technologies and processes.
Contribute to engineering documentation, modernization plans, and technical reviews.
U.S. Citizenship (mandatory).
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with mechanical and electrical HM&E systems or machinery control systems.
Solid understanding of the Navy Modernization process.
Familiarity with applying Additive Manufacturing (AM) techniques in engineering solutions.
Prior Navy or DoD program support experience.
Knowledge of Navy logistics, sustainment, and lifecycle management processes.
Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM or other AM-related software and tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
