Electrical Engineer
Responsible for the research, design, selection, development, testing, documentation, and support of electronic components, products, and high precision systems.
- Design electronic components and systems for high precision instrumentation.
- Develop and test electronic systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Provide support for electronic components and systems, troubleshooting as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum of three years of experience in electronics system design and development.
- Experience with PCB design/layout including both digital and analog circuitry.
- Proficiency in PCB schematic capture and layout using Eagle, Fusion 365 or similar PCB design tools. Exp with Gerber files
- Experience in motion control/actuation and embedded C
- Experience with engineering bench equipment such as power supplies, DVM, oscilloscope, analyzers, and signal generators.
- Experience in designing microcontrollers and digital control systems.
- Proficiency in Altera/Intel PLD programming with the Quartus II design tool or similar FPGA/PLD tools.
- Programming, configuration, and debugging of digital devices in Assembly, C, and C++.
- Firmware development experience a plus.
