Sales Engineer
Sales Engineer
- Estimate projects
- Analyze client specifications, technical drawings, and operational bottlenecks.
- Evaluate automation needs, focusing on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control integration.
- Knowledge of Electrical Design.
- Collaborate with engineering to draft concept designs for custom machine builds.
- Calculate accurate costings
- Generate comprehensive technical proposals, scopes of work (SOW), and ROI calculators.
- Prospect and qualify business.
- Deliver technical presentations proving the value of custom automation and fabrication solutions.
- Negotiate contract terms, project milestones, and pricing to close deals.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related equivalent technical field preferred).
- Proven track record selling equipment, custom machine builds, or automation systems preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
- Familiarity with industrial controls (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar PLCs/HMIs).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes a plus
- Willingness to travel (mostly local/region currently)

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $100,000.00/yr+
