Recruiting/Talent Acquisition - Aerospace

  • Responsible for full life cycle recruiting, supporting multiple programs on a NASA contract which includes extensive sourcing, screening, conducting, and scheduling interviews, and extending offers of employment.
  • Works closely with our hiring managers and will be responsible for finding, filtering, qualifying, and presenting candidates to build a strong talent pipeline for our current vacancies and upcoming task orders.
  • Post positions using a job aggregator, including niche sites, to cast a wide net in marketing career opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal sourcing and recruiting teammates and management to achieve Talent Acquisition goals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers and staff.
  • Utilize sourcing tools and techniques to identify candidates such as online social networking, traditional networking, Boolean searches, and referrals.
  • Be proactive; actively engage with hiring managers, provide ongoing status of sourcing activities and candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate position criteria, determine candidate requirements, and sourcing options.
  • Utilize candidate relationship management skills to identify, qualify, and maintain candidates.
  • Plan, organize, and ensure compliance with policies and programs encompassing employment and / or staffing function.
  • Communicate with managers on an on-going basis to identify and review requirements and responsiveness to organizational needs.
  • Perform other tasks assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.
  • BA or BS degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of appropriate and progressive experience; additional relevant education may be substituted for progressive experience
  • -OR-
  • Requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration, industrial management, or appropriate discipline, and six (6) years progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with supporting aerospace, engineering, or the Information technology sector.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition process in sourcing, screening, recruiting, and interviewing qualified candidates.
  • Experience with EEO, OFCCP and relevant federal & state laws.
  • Professional recruiting/talent acquisition experience in a corporate and or search firm environment.
  • Experience with web-based applicant tracking systems (Taleo, iCIMS, HRIS or other similar systems) as well as experience recruiting using job boards, social media, and networking
  • Experience developing and executing passive sourcing strategies to creatively attract top talent in the industry by using internet sourcing techniques and sites and full recruiting lifecycle background.
Desired skills:
  • BA or BS degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) to five (5) years of appropriate and progressive experience; additional relevant education may be substituted for progressive experience.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, extremely complex, and varying personalities across all levels of the organization
  • Strong commitment to client & candidate experience
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple, competing assignments in a dynamic environment, with the ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable
  • Strong problem solving and presentation skills and able to gather, analyze, and report performance data
  • Strong negotiation and consultative skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Highly organized and computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
