This individual will be responsible for ongoing platform operations, including providing design recommendations for future cloud platforms and supporting the successful implementation of multiple environments and initiatives. 

Responsibilities will include day to day support of pivotal cloud foundry platforms and implementation of cloud service provider services across multiple cloud and on-premises locations. This role will also contribute to the overall maturity and definition of modern cloud native practices, automated processes including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and automated testing services. This role will also have responsibility on modernizing legacy platforms and integrating with modern approaches.

Additional Job Details:    Job Responsibilities: •    Set up and maintain AWS and Azure services and environments •    Install and configure Pivotal Cloud Foundry •    Maintenance and support on Pivotal Cloud Foundry •    Setup and maintain VMWare infrastructure •    Utilize automation tools to optimize the environments for DevOps •    Operate and support Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation platforms •    Operate and support Pega RPA platforms •    Work with teams managing infrastructure, networking and application development to forecast capacity, scaling and demand •    Ensure platforms are available to SLAs, are effectively monitored, resolve platform issues and implement change management processes •    Support application customers by installing, maintaining, administering, and managing servers and network systems •    Establish monitoring tools and management dashboards integrated into cloud platforms with best practice notifications and response processes •    Collaborate with IT operations teams to support platform hosted applications •    Provide standards, processes and oversight of platforms and associated services •    Recommend process improvements and identify optimization opportunities •    Establish strong partnerships with peered services groups and across all Raytheon IT leadership to ensure provided services align with IT leadership needs Required Skills: •    Minimum 4 years related working experience •    3 or more years of experience designing or operating highly scalable, secure, and high performing systems or software •    3 or more years of experience operating web application delivery technologies •    2 or more years of experience implementing configuration management tools •    2 or more years of experience working with Pivotal Cloud Foundry environments •    2 or more years of experience with Amazon Web Services commercial and GovCloud •    2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure for Government (MAG) •    Strong understanding of application management and release methodologies •    Experience scripting in at least two of: Unix shell, PERL, Python, PowerShell, Groovy or Ruby •    Ability to clearly document and diagram technical systems •    Experience working with diverse workforces, contractors and suppliers •    Understanding of application controls and compliance • Ability to translate Business and Function demands to platform capacity and performance •    Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired Skills: •    Experience with Chef, Puppet, BOSH, Ansible, Terraform or related automation / orchestration tools •    Experience with Jenkins, Concourse, Bamboo, or similar continuous integration / test automation tools •    Experience with Git, TFS, Crucible, Jira or similar configuration management design and integration software •    Experience with cloud and traditional implementations of relational databases, data services and message busses such as MySQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, AWS RDS, SQL Server, SQL Azure, Oracle •    Experience with mixed .NET and Java environments •    Software development or DevOps automation background •    Experience with container orchestrators such as Kubernetes, Docker and Cloud Foundry •    Experience with build systems (maven, gradle, ant, ivy, Jenkins) •    Certifications with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure •    Background experience in Infrastructure, IT Sec, Application Development •    Current on technology trends and contributes to knowledge capital •    Strong Customer & Service Focus •    Highly self-motivated, directed and improvement oriented •    Ability to build relationships with non-technical people •    Effective communicator able to influential alignment •    Proven track record of achieving valued results •    Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to constructively debate, dialogue, negotiate, influence and work with others collaboratively
