  • Support to the development of the implementation guidance, best practice information, schedules, and detailed product feature specifications to support integration of ACAS.
  • Employ strong knowledge of security concepts and practices to proactively identify threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
  • Investigate and analyze new threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits. This includes documenting and developing countermeasures using ACAS.
  • Support ACOIC targeting by responding to escalations and provide / recommend actions using ACAS.
  • Identify security impacts to the ACAS capability.
  • Manage and monitor all alerts from HBSS roll ups and or any other system used for correlation of events.
  • Review and diagnose enclave security practices and use of Vulnerability Management System to define security status.
  • Participate in ACOIC-level planning and deliberation groups to mitigate threats.
  • Act as a core contributor to the targeting and Enterprise Management staffs.
  • Provide training to Analysts and Command Duty Officer Members of the technical staff during events affecting Army systems, and represent the Counter Threat Unit in cross-departmental endeavors.
  • Support specialized security needs for Army clients by developing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for ACAS processes.
  • Provide direct support to define system support requirements in order to support the ACAS suite of software tools in support of configuration management and sustainment.
  • Conduct testing of new ACAS technologies and develop documentation to meet suspense dates.
  • Perform site-specific Tier III support such as risk mitigation activities as part of change/configuration management to ensure smooth implementation and transition to ACAS.
  • Support the research and analysis of DoD and DA policies to mitigate implementation problems that may impact the ACAS implementation.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the secured ACAS capability baseline.
  • Create, modify, maintain, or provide input for the following documentation and other technical documents as identified by the COR: System Design Plan (SDP), Engineering Installation Plan,
  • Information System Support Plan, Configuration Management Plan, User Guides, TTP's, System Acceptance Test Documentation, White papers, diagrams, and executive summaries, DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation.
