This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team that maintains critical Windows IT systems and applications.  The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to Windows, Messaging and Desktop Engineering areas to support the Operation and Maintenance contract .
 
Responsibilities:
  • Team Lead responsibilities include managing employees workload, ensuring tasks are completed on-time, recommending solutions, troubleshooting, and daily operations of all Windows servers and services.
  • The candidate must have technical leadership experience with one or more teams involved in building, implementing, integrating, documenting, and supporting Windows server 2008 r2 and 2012 r2 as well as Active Directory and Group Policy Object(GPO) management, Messaging and Desktop Engineering, UNIX, Storage and Backup/Restore.
  • The candidate should have a good working knowledge of blade infrastructure, ESXi 5.x and Patching process. 
  • The Windows Team Lead provides technical leadership to operations and maintenance environment running mission critical applications. 
  • Responsibilities also include managing scope, coordinating key customer stakeholder participation, assessing and mitigating risks, reporting progress against plan, and evaluating lessons learned.
  • Perform assessment of existing environment and provide recommendation for improvement to program management office
  • Coordinate Request for Change and Change Control activities
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • VMware System Administration
  • Microsoft Active Directory Administration
  • Windows Domain Controllers
  • Windows 2008 and 2012
  • Patching and packages deployment Experience using SCCM or Big Fix
  • Group/Local Policy management, AD Migrations 
  • Active Directory and user account maintenance
