Provides technical and analytical support within multiple disciplines including system infrastructure operations of administration, analysis, engineering, and design. Analyzes and evaluates major system project parameters and requirements. Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of complex, inter-linked systems.  Responsible for all aspects of development, integration, and testing processes such as lifecycle cost analysis, design, schedules, and feasibility studies. Works with various programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms. Conducts technical evaluation, design and readiness reviews, and quality control. Shapes the assembly of well-documented functional requirements and technical specifications.
support execution of the Naval Warfare Systems Certification Policy (NWSCP) (NAVSEAINST 9410.2A) in accordance with Warfare Systems Certification Standard Operating Policy (SOP) Revision “B”.  In support of NAVSEA-05H Certification Leads, these requirements entail:
  1. Maintenance schedule.
  2. Development Metrics and Action Item Tracking Reports.
  3. Development Data-Calls in preparation for WSCERT Events.
  4. Development of Panel Briefings, Naval Messages and Executive Summary Briefings.
  5. Maintenance of Information Binders for each WSIA and WSCD Event.
  6. Supporting development of and data gathering.
  7. Maintenance of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) Checklists.
Requirements for the position are as follows:
  • BA/BS desired; 5+ years of experience supporting the DoD
  • Understanding of Navy ship and Strike Group Combat and Warfare Systems
  • Navy/Military experience desired, but not necessary
  • Highly motivated individual capable of working independently and/or in teams with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Significant organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • Current Secret clearance is required.
  • Associate’s Degree
  • ERP experience to include Purchase Request preparation and budget reconciliation a SIGNIFICANT advantage.
  • Understand planning and budgeting procedures.
