Assists in developing and publishing policy, standard operating procedures, knowledge-based articles, technical bulletins and other documents in support of the Desktop Common Operating Environment (DCOE), the Enterprise Infrastructure and the Enterprise Service Desk. Ensures the documented Windows 7 or higher baseline configuration is maintained for all devices, any deviations required must be processed through the change control process, document & configuration manager. Conduct scanning, mitigating, and patching to ensure that no Cat-I, Cat-II, or Cat-III Information Assurance Vulnerabilities are identified in the DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) database and do not exist on the network, without an approved POA&M. Provides technical remediation in support of DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS).  Utilizes eMASS in managing security controls (changing/updating artifacts) to ensure that systems are compliant and declared ATO. Conduct PCI compliance scans/findings (QIDs) to help mitigate transaction vulnerabilities. Coordinates vulnerability assessments on new and existing application software or systems. 
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 3-5 years of directly related experience supporting help desk operations. Familiarity with STIGS, SCAP, and basic security. Security+ certification along with a background in IA or Security.
Desired: Candidate is desired to have 5 + years of experience Windows and Linux environments.
No Security Clearance needed. Candidate must be able to pass a background check that will result in the issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC). This is full-time position, located in Fort Lee, VA.
