Candidate will operate, monitor, sustain, and secure the Active Directory Enterprise Forest, to include the Forest, domains, and all remote domain controllers (DC) on multiple Department of Defense (DoD) networks at multiple locations.  Typical daily duties will include:  Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance on all CONUS Domain Controllers IAW Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs).  Create and sustain Group Policy Objects to meet theater, installation, and organizational requirements.  Coordinate and work with other forest owners and installation or organization administrators to correct user account data duplication and other user data problems.  Configure, operate, sustain, and secure the Public Key Infrastructure / Certificate Authority (PKI/CA) servers/enclaves in support of certificate auto-generation/issuance to all network devices.  Provide Microsoft Exchange support.  Demonstrated/practical hands-on experience working in a DoD enterprise Active Directory environment.  Familiarization with the DoD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).  Working knowledge of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) for Windows operating systems and AD.
 
Provide input for the determination and analysis of security policies, risk analysis, accreditation package analysis, and engineering change proposal analysis. Develop process and procedures such as implementation guides. Implementing and standardizing Directory Service, Identity Management, and AD structures on the Non-secure (NIPRNet), Secured (SIPRNet), and Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) in the AEI in support of the Enterprise initiative. Supporting the Enterprise Active Directory (AD) architecture design and migration fielding, performing AD migration support to an AD and Enterprise Directory Services (EDS) environment across the AEI. Providing operational engineering and support for AD infrastructure design in the establishment of the Army Enterprise AD/EDS system. Verifying and validating the Army Directory Services architecture in accordance with industry best business practices.
 
Required: Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience. Candidate is required to have one of the following certifications:  GSEC, Security + CE, SSCP. The following certs are required: CCNA Security, Operating system (OS) cert, and Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional – Enterprise Administrator (MCITP:EQ) or current highest level of Microsoft certification for AD.
