EDD Test Engineering provides technical expertise to numerous manufacturing and development programs within the company's system's business..Second Shift Technical Support Engineer I / II – Test Engineering. Job Description:  EDD Test Engineering is involved in the product realization of electrical hardware for defense, commercial, industrial, domestic and foreign purposes.  An opportunity exists for an associate engineer to join our team which is responsible for manufacturing test support at the Andover facility.This position requires close cooperation with the Operations team and other engineering disciplines including Product Design, Test Development and Process & Quality Engineering.  The individual will be part of the team responsible for the efficiency, effectiveness, capability and capacity of the production test process.Primary responsibilities include supporting test and troubleshooting of RF, Analog and Digital hardware.  This role provides engineering expertise to internal customers for component, sub-system and system-level testing.  The chosen candidate will develop test procedures and generate Engineering Change Requests (CRs) on technical issues relating to the production test process.  Conducting Data Analysis to drive issues to root cause in order to improve first pass yields.  Additional responsibilities include giving technical direction to bargaining unit personnel as required.  The candidate will possess good communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic team environment.Position includes the following tasks: Interpreting test requirements and documenting procedures. Collecting, analyzing and presenting test failure data – driving to root cause and corrective action. Initiating and/or coordinating Engineering Change Requests and Change Notices to improve factory flow and product quality. Ensuring hardware requirements are met and processes are followed. Assisting manufacturing operators in the test & troubleshoot of production hardware.
