Job Title: Senior Eng Logistics Specialist The Senior Engineering Logistics assignment will be the Repair lead for a program, acting as the interface with both internal and external customers and managing the repair operations tasks.  The candidate for this role will also be the department Point of Contact (POC) for interfacing with the Enterprise Depot Community of Practice team, responsible for identifying lessons learned and best practices from other businesses and applying them to systems depot programs.  The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user. The R&R lead for WLED is responsible for managing all company managed repair operations tasks.Responsibilities include: Tracking all program repairs through the Integrated Air Defense Center in Andover, MA, and collecting metrics on repairs. Manage and track the repairs costs and work with the customer and program office on required budgets and funding requests. Develop a depot repair materials list and manage the procurement, funding & delivery of material Provide data to Control Account Managers (CAM) for program cost control and participate in EACs. Provide weekly status reports to leadership and manage delivery of any Program CDRL requirements to the Customer. Present and participate in Program Reviews, Customer meetings, and team status meetings on repairs Collect, Monitor, and Report Monthly Repair Cycle Time Metrics: Received assets, in process work, back log & turnaround time on Line Replaceable Units (LRU) Register Government / Customer Furnished property through WAWF registration (i.e., “iRapt” Registering non-serialized assets , “IUID” Registering serialized assets)Generate Quotations and Delivery Travelers in PRISM. Manage company Manufactured Repairs with Cross Business Teams. The department POC for the Enterprise Depot Community of Practice is responsible for:  Identifying process and tool improvement opportunities within the WLED based on feedback from the Community of Practice. Preparing the R&R program area for IDS’s implementation of the iMRO PRISM tool in early 2019.Working with the WLED sustainment leads to develop a tools & processes roadmap for sustainment programs  This position requires 10% domestic travel and could require up to 5% international travel. Required Skills:   A minimum of (6+) years of experience in a sustainment, operations, or production control environment for complex hardware systems, understanding of the procurement, repair, and/or maintenance processes.
