The review and tailoring of EMI/EMC requirements to meet specified product performance for all aspects of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) compliance, including EMI/EMC/EME/ESD/EMP and lightning. Developing models for interference coupling mechanisms, shielding integrity, and circuit/cable interface isolation to mitigate and control conducted/radiated emissions and susceptibility stimuli. Performing Electromagnetic Environmental Effects and Survivability site testing including but not limited to test planning, scheduling and test performance in compliance with standards MIL-STD-188-125, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-464. Creation of test reports, procedures, and control plans and guidelines.
 
Required: Need candidates with significant experience in Specialty Engineering. Candidates should be knowledgeable enough to train other personnel as well as have GMD or missile defense experience. Specialty engineering work scope would include the following: Human Systems Integration, Survivability, Electromagnetic Effects (EMI), Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), and Spectrum Management. Candidate must have experience reviewing and tailoring EMI/EMC requirements to meet specified product performance for all aspects of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) compliance, including EMI/EMC/EME/ESD/EMP and lightning. Candidate must have experience developing models for interference coupling mechanisms, shielding integrity, and circuit/cable interface isolation to mitigate and control conducted/radiated emissions and susceptibility stimuli. Candidate must have experience performing Electromagnetic Environmental Effects and Survivability site testing including but not limited to test planning, scheduling and test performance in compliance with standards MIL-STD-188-125, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-464. Candidate must have experience creating test reports, procedures, and control plans and guidelines.
 
Desired: Bachelor of Science degree with 9 years of experience OR a Master of Science degree with 7 years of experience.
 
Travel: Travel is required.
 
Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance. This is a full-time position, located in Huntsville, AL.
