Immediate need for qualified candidate
US Citizen required.  Clearance a plus but must be able to obtain a secret clearance.


The candidate will support development of new products or support of already fielded products by developing technical documentation to include Technical Manuals and Training Support Packages along with the planning and execution of training events. The candidate will also contribute to technical proposals or client briefings to capture new business. Travel will be required.  Responsibilities include:
  • Interprets Engineer Drawings, Specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) during conceptual design, detailed design, prototyping, fabrication, and testing phases of development programs
  • Developing Technical Manuals and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) in accordance with MIL-STD-40051 -1 & -2
  • Conduct research of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Manuals and Interpret/Convert information (e.g. engineering models, drawings, schematics, spreadsheets, etc.) into end-user military standard (MIL STD) documentation and reference materials such as Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC), repair parts and special tools lists 
  • Creates/Edits Vector Graphics for incorporation into Technical Manuals
  • Generate Training Support Packages in accordance with TRADOC Regulation 350-70 and commercial standards
  • Conducts Training Needs Analyses (TNAs)
  • Develop Training Plans and coordinate mid to large scale training events to all branches of the service
  • Provide instruction of course materials in support of CBRNE Product training events
  • Support Logistics Planning Analyses, such as Level of Repair Analyses (LORA), and Maintenance Task Analysis
  • Expert level proficiency with editing and production tools (i.e. FrameMaker, MS Word, etc.)
  • Perform routine and ad-hoc tasking is support of time-sensitive projects
  • Provide routine status updates to both program and line management

THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years’ military experience in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, High Yield Explosives (CBRNE) Defense Operations
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a primary classroom instructor providing training
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Civil Support Teams (CST) or similar CBRNE response teams
  • Direct and proven experience generate and critically review technical documentation (i.e. specifications, plans, procedures, and technical reports)
  • Direct and proven experience interfacing with a variety of engineering and scientific disciplines on development programs
  • Direct and proven experience interfacing directly with commercial and US government end-users and program offices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with MS Office Software Power Log, COMPASS, Technical Manual XML/ SGML composition tools, and graphics development tools
  • U.S. Citizen with willingness/ability to possess DoD Secret security clearance
 
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
  • Master’s Degree in education, logistics, or any related field
  • Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) certification or an equivalent Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) code
  • Ability to develop CONOPs that synergize technologies with tactical applications
  • Experience developing proposals to capture new business or expand current client engagement
  • U.S. Citizen with a current/active DoD Secret security clearance
