Mid Level Cyber Security Engineer - DoD Secret Clearance Required

The Engineer will provide technical Navy shipboard systems engineering expertise to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Cybersecurity Implementation Technical Warrant Holders (TWH) for both Combat Systems and Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Systems of Navy Afloat and Undersea platforms.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Support the technical review and development of technical documentation, including:
     o Cybersecurity Technical Assessments
     o Navy Ship Specification Documents
     o Cybersecurity training requirements for combat system and HM&E Engineers
     o Cybersecurity Standards
     o Cybersecurity Best Practices
     o Program Protection Plans
     o Cyber Security Strategies
     o Mission Readiness Assessments
• Support Cybersecurity implementation into the NAVSEA Systems Engineering Process.
• Support TWH responsibilities within the System's Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
• Support TWH responsibilities within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
Experience Requirements
• Requires prior shipboard experience and knowledge of shipboard operations.
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Security+ certification preferred
• Navy/Military experience is desired, but not necessary
• Highly motivated individual capable of working independently and/or in teams with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Significant organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
