The Structural Aerospace Loads and Dynamics Engineer will:
  • Perform Finite Element Modeling and Model checks, modal analysis, transient analysis or coupled loads analysis, random vibration analysis, and acoustic analysis.
  • Develop launch vehicle or spacecraft environments for liftoff, ascent, and on-orbit loads.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:

  • BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school and five (5) years of related engineering experience, or a MS degree from an accredited engineering school and four (4) years of related engineering experience, or Ph.D. from an accredited engineering school and zero (0) years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in NASTRAN (MSC or NX).
  • Proficiency in FEMAP or PATRAN.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or Python.
  • Proficiency in MSC/ADAMS software required.
  • Familiarity with desktop software applications, MS Office is required.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • LS-DYNA, VA-one, Atune, and IMAC experience
