The selected candidates will serve as the aid to all support related issues for all users across the various supported functional areas and projects. Helpdesk Admin's are considered the first tier of support for problem resolution ranging from sever issues (that average responses times of an hour) to help desk call resolution (which averages around 10 minutes until the issue at hand is resolved)  and even if a PC Tech is need to be dispatched to the user (which averages around 40 minutes to solve the issue). These times include travel time if necessary and the help desk receives on average 400 calls per month. It is also important that any information, on either computer or said over the phone, is kept secure.
Candidates will provide on-site database coverage support during normal working hours as defined: M-F: 0600 hrs to 1800 hrs. However there is the potential with special mission requirements, to have hours outside the defined normal operating hours. This occurrence takes place rarely, only roughly 6 to 10 times per year.
Required:  2 to 4 years of directly related experience.Must meet DoD 8570, 8570.01-M and AR 25-2 training and certification requirements, i.e. Windows 10 or A+ and/or Security+/A+. Associate's Degree.
Desired:  Technical training in an Information Technology related field or Information systems support
