The selected candidate is able to ensure all Information Assurance (IA) activities by utilizing different measures that can be taken to protect and defend information/information systems without compromising the availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation of said information. The selected candidate has the desired knowledge and expertise required to accredit new systems/networks and abides by industry best practices and regulations (i.e. Presidential orders, DoD regulations, Army regulations). The selected candidate will work with and support the government with various aspects of information systems throughout the project. These include: development, documentation, enforcement, auditing, remediation, and updating of any IA controls, policies, procedures and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). The selected candidate is required to have the appropriate security clearances and IA training and certifications that coincide with the DD254.
 
Required:  6+ years of directly related experience. Must meet DoD 8570, 8570.01-M and AR 25-2 training and certification requirements, i.e. Security+, CISSP. Associate's Degree.
 
Desired:  Technical training in an Information Technology related field or Information Assurance training.
