Electrical/Computer Engineer

The selected candidate will:

• Perform upgrades of existing SCADA systems including the development of new Iconics configurations as well as upgrading existing configurations
• Create and upgrade HMI screens for Iconics
• Perform upgrades to PLCs as needed for integration into SCADA platform
• Integration of Data Acquisitions systems into SCADA platform
• Resolve corrective actions as they arise
• Review and track project status reporting
• Produce required documentation
• Perform system checkouts and acceptance
• Perform other duties as required

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with experience in computer programming and SQL databases.  Should be able to understand electrical drawings and be able to interface with instrumentation and data acquisition systems.

Requisition Preferences:

• Familiarity with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures
• Familiarity with SCADA systems
• Experience with Iconics software
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and programming software
• Familiarity with OPC DA/UA
• Familiarity with National Instrument Data Acquisition systems
• Familiarity with LabView
• Familiarity with SQL server
