Job Description

• Be responsible for software development for Linux and/or Windows. Software development is primarily on Linux.
• Applications are primarily military mission systems.
• Familiarity with software patterns and/or modern design methodology.
• Object-Oriented Design and Analysis
• Familiarity with software lifecycle process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred), and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
• Software development/maintenance experience.
• C, C++, and/or Java experience
• Window OS experience.
• The essential physical requirements of the position will be reviewed with the applicant during the interview.

Desired Skills:

• Image processing development experience a plus.
• GUI design and development experience a plus.
• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.
• Containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) experience is a plus.
