Job Description:

• This role will be responsible for a variety of software tasks throughout the full lifecycle for designing, coding, documenting, and testing embedded systems

Required Education/Background:

• 4+ years of experience
• Minimum of BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience using C and/or C++ to develop embedded software
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems
• Basic knowledge of circuits, schematics, and hardware components
• Experience working with Communication Protocols such as Ethernet, RS232/422, 1553, SPI, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

 

Desired Skills:

• Experience using software version control tools
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming
• Experience working with other programming languages such as C#, MATLAB, Python, etc.
• Experience in the Defense, Space, Aerospace, or similar industries
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and basic lab equipment
• Experience with Linux and Windows Development Environments
