The Advanced Technology Lab of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking Logistics Engineers. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Transformational Technology Business Area. Transformational Technology is focused on developing state-of-the-art next generation superconducting electronics (SCE) and advanced computing technologies.

Responsibilities may include:

• Championing process improvement activities.
• Generating inputs for schedules.
• Utilization of SAP Materials management.
• Establishing and analyzing test procedures.
• Project Management.
• Devise and implement methods and procedures for evaluating the accuracy of test stand installs and qualification.
• Develop a plan for periodic review of assets activity (e.g., in use, idle, at calibration, needs repair/upgrade, awaiting final disposition, etc., across multiple labs.
• Devise and implement methods and procedures for tracking test assets.
• Provide a monthly report on the status of all assets to the program offices as required.

This position can be filled at the Principal Logistics Engineer level OR the Sr. Principal Logistics Engineer level. Qualifications for both are listed below:
 

Basic Qualifications for Principal Logistics Engineer:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 5+ years of related work experience – OR – a Master’s degree from an accredited university with 2+ years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in one or more of the following: Asset Tracking, Quality Assurance, Material Management, Performing Audits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance (US citizenship required for this).

Preferred Qualifications for Principal Logistics Engineer:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• Familiarity with low temperature measurements.
• Cabling and Rack installation/integration experience.
• Thermal test chamber operation desired (hot and/or cold).

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Logistics Engineer:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 9+ years of related work experience – OR – a Master’s degree from an accredited university with 7+ years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in one or more of the following: Asset Tracking, Quality Assurance, Material Management, Performing Audits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance (US citizenship required for this).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
