Drafting Designer

Successful candidate will be part of the engineering department, and in charge of all aspects of the mechanical design phase including generating manufacturing drawings. You will create a 3D model using Inventor to get customer approval and upon approval you will generate drawings package.  Prior experience with transformers, reactors or power generation is a plus. 

AutoCAD and Inventor (might consider Solidworks)
The training process will include spending time in each manufacturing department to be familiar with our processes and full support from Sr Drafter.
Knowledge in electrical engineering/design is strongly preferred.
 ·        Generate 3D drawings on Inventor based on Engineer design.
·        Generate bill of materials (BOM).
·        Generate 2D manufacturing drawings according to our process.
·        Follow instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings using company drafting standards, in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015
EDUCATION & SKILL:

• Proficient in 3D Design using Auto Desk Inventor Pro (preferred) or Solidworks

• Technical/drafting school education or equivalent is required.

COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS
 ·        Solid mechanical knowledge in hardware assembly
·        Proficient in MS Word and Excel
·        Basic knowledge of electrical engineering
