Software Defined Radio Engineer
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or computer engineering with 5+ years of relevant hardware experience is required (experience with embedded systems is a plus).
Experience in accurately documenting software (requirements, flow diagrams, readme, users guide, etc.) and managing software bugs, features, epochs, sprints, and releases using tools (e.g., JIRA) is required.
Experience with VHDL, Verilog, or MATLAB System Generator with competency in learning, developing, and maintaining existing source code and Xilinx based FPGA projects is required.
Experience in Linux OS environment with advanced competency in installing and using software from Linux repositories and source code such as building a C project from source with Make, as well as using Linux command line utilities is required.
Experience in one or more SDR frameworks such as GNU Radio, USRP/UHD, RTL-SDR, and Epic SDR development kits is preferred.
Experience with commercial communication systems and/or radar signal processing is preferred, and the ability to manipulate digital RF data with DSP algorithms and codec processing is a plus.
Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI Clearance upon hire (TS/SCI preferred).
